BitSabio was present at the Inside Bitcoins Conference which took place in San Diego on December 15–16, the conference was a great opportunity for all the local Bitcoin San Diego Bitcoin Meetup members to attend and meet other influential folks in the global bitcoin community.

Day 1:

Steve Beauregard, CEO & Founder of GoCoin.com was the morning Keynote speaker tackling the topic of “Train customers to pay with bitcoin by leveraging blockchain loyalty and incentives”.

Steve talked about the flaw in the checkout process many online merchants sites have today, Steve points out the “Coupon Code” field which prompts shoppers to go in search of a code & often never go return to the checkout page to complete their purchase. GoCoin.com offers a solution to this problem by providing rewards for shoppers paying with bitcoin, the rewards accumulate and the shopper can use them on future purchases.

Eric Lombrozo, Co-CEO & CTO of Ciphrex Corporation was the midday Keynote speaker discussion the tough to handle topic of “The Future of Crypto”.

Eric shared his insights on some big projects happening right now in the layered protocol design and cross-chain contracts area, he also went in depth and discussed how he sees bitcoin’s growth accelarating in the areas of digital content distribution, network services and sharing of computation resources.

Patrick M. Byrne, CEO of Overstock.com was the evening Keynote speaker delivering a fantastic presentation on Wall Street under the topic “You Don’t Need to Trust Wall Street — You Only Need to Trust Math”.

Patrick talked to a packed room about Wall Street and built up his presentation leading to t0.com (the trade is the settlement).
